Cretex Specialty Products was established in September 1983 to provide additional products to the sewer construction industry. The most notable are the internal and external manhole chimney seals. Stormwater infiltration into any sewer system can be extremely costly. Chimney seals are designed to reduce surcharging/bypassing and to lower pumping and treatment costs in a sanitary sewer system. In storm sewer systems, chimney seals provide protection from infiltration of surrounding soil which in turn can undermine pavements. Performance products for concrete flatwork.

Our standard fibre is made up of fibrillated virgin polypropylene in lengths from 3/4" to 2". They are designed for use in concrete and can be added at the Concrete plant or Jobsite. The mini bundles of grey, fibrillated, polypropylene, collated fibres are designed to disperse uniformly throughout the concrete. The charging action opens the bundles allowing the aggregate to shear the fibres into a multitude of individual fibre anchoring networks uniformly dispersed throughout the concrete.
