This economy-grade fiber functions as aplastic shrinkage reinforcement intended to reduce the formation of shrinkage cracks prior to initial set and to reduce settlement shrinkage. ECONO-MONO is non-corrosive, non-magnetic, chemically inert, and 100% acid and alkali proof.

ECONO-MONO is used in concrete applications such as slab-on-grade, curbs, driveways, sidewalks, basement floors, garage floors, colored concrete, and small precast products, to control plastic shrinkage – anywhere that the objective is to control plastic shrinkage cracking while improving basic durability properties.

Non-corrosive, chemically inert, and resistant to alkali attack.

FORTA NYLO-MONO is primarily used with cast-in-place concrete applications such as slab-on-grade, overlays/toppings, curbs, driveways, sidewalks, basement floors, garage floors, and colored concrete, where the object is to control plastic shrinkage cracking.

MOBILE-MESH™

FORTA® MOBILE-MESH™ is an alkali resistant glass fiber developed for modification and reinforcement of cement based applications to ensure increased long-term performance and durability. MOBILE-MESH will not rot or corrode and is unaffected by UV radiation, making it suitable for use with minimal cover.

The density of FORTA MOBILE-MESH, which matches that of concrete, allows for exceptional dispersion by eliminating floating, sinking, clumping, and air entrapment, therefore, providing a seamless concrete application. FORTA MOBILE-MESH rovings have a high Elastic Modulus and Tensile Strength, making it ideal as an effective reinforcement for any glass reinforced concrete project.

FORTA MOBILE-MESH can be easily added into a volumetric ready mix concrete truck with the help of a FORTA® patented fiber dispenser. This process requires no extensive equipment changes – making it a simple and easy investment to add long-term value to your concrete.

FORTA PE-2®

FORTA PE-2® fiber is an easy to apply, fully oriented, 100% virgin copolymer polyethylene monofilament fibrous reinforcement.

This engineered fiber provides a mini-reinforcing system forming a more cohesive, inner-supported mix intended to reduce the formation of shrinkage cracks prior to initial set, as well as provide a rapid burn-out characteristic in the hardened mass after initial set. FORTA PE-2 fiber is non-corrosive and non-magnetic.

FORTA PE-2 fiber is typically used in refractory castable concrete applications to provide early cohesiveness and green strength, and to provide uniform vapor-release/burn-out channels within the mass during firing.  Requires no mix design or placement changes.
